What You Can Expect

What You Can Expect From the Life Coaching Process:

We can meet face-to-face during sessions, over the phone, via email or Skype. My role as your coach is to listen deeply, help identify priorities & obstacles, and co-create a clear action plan for success, which may include “homework” to be done between sessions. I will support you and hold you accountable throughout your journey, allowing you to take risks and explore new ideas while giving you the space and security to change bad habits and negative thinking.

You already have the answers. My job is to pull them out of you. I ask challenging questions that will force you to dig deeper, uncover resistance that has been holding you back and shine a bright light on those self-imposed limitations that need to be discarded. This does not have to be a long, drawn out process. I just need two hours to assess the situation and help you get the clarity you need at that time. I find that having clarity on a current dilemma is sometimes all that’s needed to regain the motivation to move forward again.

I will help you celebrate your victories and will be there to discuss any concerns, fears or changes you experience throughout your journey. I will be honest and upfront and will give you the opportunity to talk at length about things one usually doesn’t get a chance to talk about in normal social situations. Sometimes just hearing yourself talk about a situation can bring about clarity. We’ll also laugh a lot and have fun….this doesn’t have to be difficult.

We mostly walk through life with negative and self-sabotaging thoughts that can greatly hinder the process of becoming who we are meant to be. I may focus on what your thoughts are and will often times ask for the evidence for those thoughts. I’ll help you replace negative thoughts with healthy ones as we work through the process of getting you from where you are to where you want to be. I’m not afraid to call you out when it appears you are acting on fear or mistrust.

My belief is that everyone has the potential to do something magnificent; typically it’s something we’re incredibly passionate about. It could be our life’s purpose and the further away from it we get, the more unhappy we become. But I know we can get back on track and gain the clarity needed to move forward. I’m excited about that prospect and I guarantee you will walk away from our encounter feeling inspired and motivated to get started!
